Pedagogical frameworks
- NCTM Principles and Standards — procedural fluency + conceptual understanding + problem solving balanced across every grade band.
- National Reading Panel Big Five — phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension are each reported separately.
- Science of Reading — structured literacy approach, systematic phonics sequences K-2.
- CRA (Concrete-Representational-Abstract) — K-8 math sequenced from manipulatives to symbolic.
- Depth of Knowledge (Webb) — assessment items tagged by DOK level (recall, skill/concept, strategic thinking, extended thinking).
